Story Time

There was a young girl named Abigail with gold locks of curls tied back in braids.  She was 12 years old.  There were some younger boys, but that was it.  The other girls, 1 was 14, a few were 16, and there were many who were like 18, 19, 20, and so forth.  These were not magical witches as I've told before.  These were normal people from humble times.  They were by the dock, much like pirates.  There were men busy and some with the boys.  There was a lady with the girls named Samantha and several others discussing things with the oldest of these girls..

"Ugh!" Abigail said.  The girls pulled her braids when she was in the way.  Samantha picked up Abby and the other girls started a discussion.  "So," said a pretty girl of 14 with medium locks and a cross about her neck.  "What shall we play for this time?"  "Ooh, I know," said Aruby age 16, "we'll play for a spot at the mines!"  "Who wants to remember something like that," said the hostess, secretary, and now treasurer.  Samantha came back alone and rallied up the girls.  They all boarded the ship.  Violet said, "Oh, my, are we cozy."  The ship took off.

On the ship, the girls played jump rope.  When it began to rain, they all went inside and lay down.  It was a nice, big boat, made of wood and plastered off.  They must be careful.  "When will we get there," asked a little 1 named Molly..  "Oh," nursed Samantha, "we'll get there all right."  "Go back to bed!" said Prudence, an older girl.

A girl named Holly age 21 was busy comforting and holding the 14-year-olds during the storm.  They could not seem to relax knowing what was out there.  They hoisted the flag to keep away lightening.  Finally, they woke up and it was all over.  "Lila," asked Holly, "May we please feed the little ones??"  "Thanks for bringing that up."  They all fed on pieces of cheese, tasty bread...., and hunks of sausage.

Jennifer, who was 27, went upstairs as the storm ended and had some serious talks with the older boys.

Finally, they arrived at their destination, a well-supplied island.  "How long will we be here?"  We're going to be here awhile until it's time to leave again.

Finally, they all hopped in and sailed off to Spain.

Some of the scared girls of 14 and 16 huddled with the ladies with their arms wrapped about.  Abigail got the protected area and held onto her soft dolly while she ate some salty treat in private.  Finally, they arrived at their next destination.  It was a wonderfully stocked place full of lots of people.  They watched them do the Flamenco and La Coo Coo Ra Cha, etc.  The Tarantella!!!!  They all stayed in tents while the men worked on building the house.  Finally, house was done, and everyone moved inside.  Some of them had birthdays, on this hot day nearing end of August.  Abigail was given a kitty cat cuz she was so young still.  She kept it in a little spot and fed it milk.

1 day they all went camping with others in the area they mingled with.  Some wolves appeared, and the ladies took some of the girls and lifted them into the caravan while the men warded them off with fire.

They all arrived at a huge carival in France.  A girl named Christina with plain black hair loved the tunnel of love, and her cheeks flushed at the sights and excitements.  The littler girls clung to the older ladies, takean away by all the rides that were there.  They all rode back.

It turned out they got sent away to do different jobs.  Only Christina remained.  She had a job helping Samantha and her new children.  They had to move away.  She was a detective.  She continued her studies.  She studied crime and havoc.  Christina went away.  Time was 1940.  So..  She got put in a ballet company and emerged as a public figure as an actress in many movies and in more than 1 hit.  She, too, had a family of her own, and they moved to Africa to study what was there.  She had her cute little daughter Nilly and older son Petey.  There were others from places like the U.S. and U.K. and former U.S.S.R., whatever that stood for.  Soviet?  They were mingling, and they ended up travelling more often having nice young lives with lots of other modern people.
